It teaches that steady, time-bound devotion—daily worship supported by periodic sacred observances—keeps the devotee aligned with Pati (Shiva), loosening pāśa (bondage) through disciplined bhakti and divine grace.
The Liṅga is Saguna Shiva’s compassionate, worship-accessible form; by honoring it daily and on parva-days like Cāturmāsya, the devotee maintains continuous relationship with Shiva while being led toward the higher, transcendent reality.
Perform nitya-liṅga pūjā and add special worship on Cāturmāsya and other festivals—typically with abhiṣeka, offerings, and japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), supported by purity and sincerity.
