ต่อมา ศิษย์สุมัติผู้แน่วแน่ ได้ใช้มือทั้งสองไขว้กัน และใช้อีกมือด้วย ทามฤทาอันบริสุทธิ์ (ดิน/เถ้าศักดิ์สิทธิ์) ลงที่รักแร้ของตนด้วยความเคารพตามจารีตไศวะ
