Lord Shiva (teaching in a philosophical discourse of the Kailāsasaṃhitā)

Cosmic Event: re-emergence of jīva after saṃhāra into prakṛti for karmabhoga
It defines sṛṣṭi (creation) as Shiva’s orderly re-manifestation of the jīva into Prakṛti so the soul can undergo karmabhoga—experiencing and exhausting the results of past actions—using the body and senses as instruments, pointing to bondage (pāśa) as karmic conditioning until true knowledge and grace lead to liberation.
Since embodiment arises for karmic experience, Linga-worship of Saguna Shiva becomes a corrective path within manifestation: by devotion, purity, and right understanding, the same instruments used for bhoga are redirected toward Shiva, weakening karma and attachment and orienting the jīva toward Pati (Shiva) rather than Prakṛti.
A practical takeaway is to use the ‘sādhana-aṅgas’ (body and senses) for Shiva-sādhana—daily japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namah Shivaya), Linga-abhiṣeka, and wearing Rudrākṣa/Tripuṇḍra with disciplined conduct—so karmic experience becomes purification rather than further bondage.
