Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It praises exalted divine beings as established in nirvikalpa (non-fragmented, concept-free awareness) and nirātaṅka (fearlessness), indicating that proximity to Shiva’s realm culminates in the steady bliss of mukti.
In Shaiva understanding, devotion to Saguna Shiva—often through Linga worship—purifies the mind from vikalpa (restless conceptualization), leading toward the nirvikalpa steadiness that is described here as the ground for liberation-bliss.
Meditate on Shiva with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while cultivating nirbhayatā (fearlessness) and reducing vikalpa; this aligns the seeker with the verse’s qualities of nirvikalpa and mukti-ānanda.
