The Determination of Śiva as the Meaning of Praṇava
न सम्प्रसूयते यो वै कुतश्चन कदाचन । यस्मिन्न भासते विद्युन्न न सूर्यो न चन्द्रमाः
na samprasūyate yo vai kutaścana kadācana | yasminna bhāsate vidyunna na sūryo na candramāḥ
พระองค์ผู้ไม่เคยบังเกิดไม่ว่าเมื่อใดหรือจากที่ใด; ภายในพระองค์ไม่มีสายฟ้าส่องประกาย ไม่มีดวงอาทิตย์ ไม่มีดวงจันทร์—พระองค์นั้นคือพระศิวะผู้เป็นปรเมศวร อยู่เหนือแสงทั้งปวงที่ถูกสร้างและเหนือความเป็นไปทั้งสิ้น।
