Suta Goswami (narrating the Kailasa Samhita teachings to the sages, summarizing the highest Shaiva doctrine of liberation)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It declares that the highest Shaiva teaching is direct Shiva-oneness, which yields jīvanmukti (liberation while living) for the disciplined seeker, pointing to the changeless (nirvikāra) reality realized by grace and inner restraint.
Linga and Saguna worship purify the mind and steady devotion; this verse highlights the culmination—realizing Shiva’s non-changing essence—where worship matures into direct recognition of Shiva as the ultimate reality.
Practice self-restraint (yama-niyama), steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and Shiva-dhyāna aimed at inner stillness so the seeker becomes fit for the direct realization of Shiva-oneness.
