तं त्वा यज्ञेभिरीमहे तं गीर्भिर्गिर्वणस्तम । इन्द्र यथा चिदाविथ वाजेषु पुरुमाय्यम् ॥
Transliteration
táṃ tvā yájñebhir īmahe táṃ gīrbhír girvaṇastama | índra yáthā cid ā́vitha vā́jeṣu puru-mā́yyam ||
Translation
เราทั้งหลายวอนขอท่านด้วยยัญญะทั้งปวง วอนขอท่านด้วยถ้อยคำสรรเสริญอันดลใจ—โอ้อินทระ ผู้รับสนองบทสวดสรรเสริญยิ่งนัก ดังที่ท่านเคยเกื้อหนุนมาแล้ว ขอจงเกื้อหนุนบัดนี้ ในความอุดมแห่งพลัง—โอ้ผู้มีฤทธิ์ผลสำเร็จนานาประการ
