महि वो महतामवो वरुण मित्रार्यमन् । अवांस्या वृणीमहे ॥

ความคุ้มครองอันยิ่งใหญ่ของท่านทั้งหลายยิ่งใหญ่นัก โอ วรุณะ (Varuṇa) มิตระ (Mitra) อริยมัน (Aryaman) เราขอเลือกและรับที่พึ่งของท่านทั้งหลาย เพื่อให้ธรรมอันกว้างใหญ่ตั้งอยู่เหนือเรา และให้หนทางอันตรงมั่นคง.
