आ स एतु य ईवदाँ अदेवः पूर्तमाददे । यथा चिद्वशो अश्व्यः पृथुश्रवसि कानीतेऽस्या व्युष्याददे ॥

ā́ sá etu yá ī́vadā́ṃ ádevaḥ pūrtám ādadé | yáthā cid váśo aśvyáḥ pṛthú-śrávasi kānī́te ’syā́ vyuṣyā́dadé ||

ขอเขาจงมาเถิด—ผู้นั้นแม้มิได้เคลื่อนไปพร้อมเหล่าเทพ ก็ยังรับเอาเครื่องบูชาที่บริบูรณ์; ดุจวาศะ (Vaśa) ผู้ขี่ม้า ณ กาณีตะ (Kāṇīta) อันเลื่องชื่อกว้างไกล ได้รับนางในยามรุ่งอรุณปรากฏ.
