नकिष्टं कर्मणा नशन्न प्र योषन्न योषति । देवानां य इन्मनो यजमान इयक्षत्यभीदयज्वनो भुवत् ॥

nákiṣ ṭáṃ kármaṇā naśan ná prá yoṣan ná yoṣati | devā́nāṃ yá ín máno yajamā́na iyákṣaty abhī́d áyajvano bhuvat ||

ไม่มีผู้ใดเข้าถึงเขาได้ด้วยการกระทำอันเป็นศัตรู; ไม่มีผู้ใดขัดขวางเขาหรือทำให้เขาถอยได้—เมื่อยัชมานะ (ผู้บูชายัญ) ตั้งจิตจำนงไว้ที่เหล่าเทวะและถวายบูชา เขาย่อมชนะความต้านทานภายในของผู้ไม่บูชายัญ.
