Transliteration
índre agnā́ námo bṛhát suvṛktím ér ayāmahe | dhiyā́ dhénā avasyávaḥ ||
Translation
แด่อินทระและอัคนี เราถวายความนอบน้อมอันยิ่งใหญ่; เราปลุกถ้อยสรรเสริญที่ร้อยเรียงอย่างประณีตให้ก้องขึ้น. ด้วยปัญญาอันดลใจ ดุจโคนมแห่งความอุดม เราแสวงหาความอุปถัมภ์และการหล่อเลี้ยงจากท่านทั้งสอง.
