Sukta 6.24
न यं जरन्ति शरदो न मासा न द्याव इन्द्रमवकर्शयन्ति । वृद्धस्य चिद्वर्धतामस्य तनूः स्तोमेभिरुक्थैश्च शस्यमाना ॥
ná yaṃ járanti śarádo ná māsā́ ná dyā́va índram avakarśáyanti | vṛ́ddhasya cid vardhatām asya tanū́ḥ stómebhir uktháiś ca śasyámānā ||
ฤดูกาลทั้งหลายไม่ทำให้พระองค์ร่วงโรย เดือนทั้งหลายก็ไม่; วันทั้งหลายย่อมฉุดอินทระลงไม่ได้. แม้ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่และเก่าแก่แล้ว ขอให้กายแห่งเดชานุภาพของพระองค์ยิ่งเพิ่มพูน—เมื่อถูกสรรเสริญและประกาศให้ประจักษ์ด้วยบทสรรเสริญและถ้อยคำศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเรา.
