Sukta 6.24
सचस्व नायमवसे अभीक इतो वा तमिन्द्र पाहि रिषः । अमा चैनमरण्ये पाहि रिषो मदेम शतहिमाः सुवीराः ॥
sácasva nāyám ávase abhī́ka itó vā tám indra pāhi riṣáḥ | amā́ cainam áraṇye pāhi riṣó mádem śatá-himāḥ su-vī́rāḥ ||
ขอจงร่วมอยู่กับผู้นำผู้นี้เพื่อคุ้มครองเขา ใกล้ชิดอยู่ ณ เบื้องหน้า; หรือจากที่นี่ โออินทระ จงปกป้องเขาจากอันตราย จงปกป้องเขาจากอันตรายทั้งในเรือนและในถิ่นทุรกันดาร เพื่อเราจะได้ชื่นบาน—มีอายุถึงร้อยฤดูหนาว และมั่งคั่งด้วยพลังวีรชน
