Sukta 4.34
विदानासो जन्मनो वाजरत्ना उत ऋतुभिॠभवो मादयध्वम् । सं वो मदा अग्मत सं पुरंधिः सुवीरामस्मे रयिमेरयध्वम् ॥
vidānā́so jánmano vāja-ratnā uta ṛtúbhir ṛbhavo mādayadhvam | sáṃ vo mádā́ agmata sáṃ púraṃdhiḥ suvī́rām asmè rayím īrayadhvam ||
ผู้รู้กำเนิดและรากเหง้าของตนเอง โอ รภุทั้งหลาย (R̥bhus) ผู้มั่งด้วยพลังและรัตนะ จงรื่นรมย์ร่วมกับฤดูกาลอันเที่ยงธรรม (ṛtu) ด้วยเถิด. ขอให้ความปีติเมามาย (mada) ของท่านทั้งหลายมารวมกัน และให้พลังแห่งความอุดมบริบูรณ์ (purandhi) มาพร้อมกันนั้น; จงเร่งเร้าเพื่อเราให้เกิดทรัพย์สมบัติ (rayi) ที่ก่อให้เกิดบุตรผู้กล้าหาญและสว่างไสว—ให้ความเป็นวีรบุรุษภายในเพิ่มพูนขึ้น.
