एतान्यग्ने नवतिर्नव त्वे आहुतान्यधिरथा सहस्रा । तेभिर्वर्धस्व तन्वः शूर पूर्वीर्दिवो नो वृष्टिमिषितो रिरीहि ॥
etā́ny agne navatír nava tvé ā́hutāny ádhirathā sahásrā | tébhir vardhasva tanvàḥ śūra pū́rvīr divó no vṛ́ṣṭim iṣitó rirīhi ||
โอ อัคนี เครื่องบูชาเหล่านี้—เก้าหมื่นเก้าพันแห่งรถศึก—ได้หลั่งลงสู่ท่านแล้ว ด้วยสิ่งเหล่านี้ขอท่านจงเจริญยิ่งขึ้นเถิด โอวีรบุรุษ กายแห่งฤทธานุภาพของท่านมีมากและเก่าแก่ ครั้นแล้วเมื่อถูกส่งออกด้วยแรงเร่งเร้าของท่าน จงนำฝนจากสวรรค์มาให้เรา—ปลดปล่อยความอุดมที่ถูกกักไว้เสีย
