उत नो देवावश्विना शुभस्पती धामभिर्मित्रावरुणा उरुष्यताम् । महः स राय एषतेऽति धन्वेव दुरिता ॥

Transliteration

utá no devā́vaśvínā śubhás patī dhā́mabhir mitrā́váruṇā uruṣyatām | maháḥ sá rāyá eṣate ’tí dhánveva duritā́ ||

Translation

ขอให้เทพอัศวิน (Aśvin) ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งความผาสุกอันสว่างไสว และมิตร–วรุณะ (Mitra-Varuṇa) คุ้มครองเราด้วยฤทธานุภาพแห่งแสงที่ตั้งมั่น. แล้วความเต็มเปี่ยมอันยิ่งใหญ่แห่งภาวะย่อมรุดหน้า และข้ามพ้นความยากลำบาก ดุจผู้ข้ามทุ่งกันดารอันกว้างใหญ่.
