जनिष्ठा उग्रः सहसे तुराय मन्द्र ओजिष्ठो बहुलाभिमानः । अवर्धन्निन्द्रं मरुतश्चिदत्र माता यद्वीरं दधनद्धनिष्ठा ॥

jániṣṭhā ugráḥ sáhase turā́ya mandró ójiṣṭho bahulā́bhimānaḥ | ávardhann índraṃ marútaś cid átra mātā́ yád vīráṃ dádhanad dhániṣṭhā ||

เขาบังเกิดแล้ว—ผู้เกรียงไกรน่าเกรงขาม—เพื่อพลังอันรวดเร็วและพิชิตชัย; รื่นรมย์ในลีลาของฤทธิ์เดช แข็งแกร่งยิ่งที่สุด มั่นใจในความกว้างไพศาลอันมากมาย. ณ ที่นี้ แม้เหล่ามารุต (Maruts) ก็ยังเพิ่มพูนอินทระ (Indra) เมื่อมารดาทรงสถาปนาวีรบุรุษไว้ ให้ “ขุมทรัพย์แห่งพลัง” ตั้งมั่นอยู่ภายในภาวะของเขา.
