कथा कविस्तुवीरवान्कया गिरा बृहस्पतिर्वावृधते सुवृक्तिभिः । अज एकपात्सुहवेभिॠक्वभिरहिः शृणोतु बुध्न्यो हवीमनि ॥

Transliteration

kathā́ kavís tuvīrávān káyā girā́ bृहáspátir vāvṛdhate suvṛ́ktibhiḥ | ajá ékapāt suhávebhir ṛ́kvabhir áhíḥ śṛṇotu budhnyò havī́mani ||

Translation

กวีผู้ทรงวีรภาพ—พฤหสปติ—จักเจริญยิ่งด้วยถ้อยคำใด ด้วยวาจาใดเล่า ด้วยบทสรรเสริญที่ร้อยเรียงงดงาม? ขออชะ เอกปาต (Aja Ekapāt) พร้อมด้วยเหล่านักขับผู้เรียกเชื้อเชิญอย่างดี จงสดับเถิด; และขอพุธนยะ (Budhnya) งูแห่งห้วงลึก จงรับฟัง ณ ที่บูชายัญและเครื่องบูชาเถิด.
