Sukta 10.48
प्र मे नमी साप्य इषे भुजे भूद्गवामेषे सख्या कृणुत द्विता । दिद्युं यदस्य समिथेषु मंहयमादिदेनं शंस्यमुक्थ्यं करम् ॥
prá me námī sāpyá íṣe bhujé bhūd gávām éṣe sakhyā́ kṛṇuta dvitā́ | didyúṃ yád asya samithéṣu maṃháyam ā́d íd enaṃ śáṃsyaṃ ukthyàṃ karam ||
นมี (Namī) ผู้เป็นสหาย ได้ก้าวนำหน้าเพื่อข้าพเจ้า เพื่อแรงเร้าและเพื่อการเสวยสุข; ในการแสวงหารัศมีอันรุ่งโรจน์ เขาได้ผูกไมตรีขึ้นอีกครั้ง เมื่อข้าพเจ้าเชิดชูพลังสายฟ้าของเขาในท่ามกลางศึก ข้าพเจ้าก็ทำให้เขาเป็นผู้ควรถูกประกาศและถูกสรรเสริญด้วยบทสวด
