सहस्तोमाः सहछन्दस आवृतः सहप्रमा ऋषयः सप्त दैव्याः । पूर्वेषां पन्थामनुदृश्य धीरा अन्वालेभिरे रथ्यो न रश्मीन् ॥

Transliteration

sahástomāḥ saháchandasa ā́vṛtaḥ sahápramā ṛ́ṣayaḥ saptá daivyā́ḥ | pū́rveṣāṃ pánthām anudṛ́śya dhīrā́ anvā́lebhire rathyò na raśmī́n ||

Translation

พร้อมด้วยบทสรรเสริญ พร้อมด้วยฉันทลักษณ์ พร้อมด้วยมาตราทั้งปวงรวมกัน ฤๅษีทิพย์ทั้งเจ็ด (ṛṣi) ได้หันตนสู่ภายใน. ครั้นเห็นหนทางของคนโบราณ ผู้มั่นคงทั้งหลายก็ยึดตามไว้—ดุจสารถีจับบังเหียนให้แน่น.
