स इद्भोजो यो गृहवे ददात्यन्नकामाय चरते कृशाय । अरमस्मै भवति यामहूता उतापरीषु कृणुते सखायम् ॥

sá id bhójō yó gṛháve dadā́ty ánna-kāmāya cárate kṛśā́ya | áram asmai bhavati yā́ma-hūtā utā́parīṣu kṛṇute sákhāyam ||

ผู้เป็นผู้เสวยแท้จริง คือผู้ซึ่งอยู่ในเรือนแล้วให้ทานแก่ผู้พเนจรผอมบางผู้แสวงหาอาหาร. สำหรับเขา การเดินทางที่ความขัดสนเรียกหา ย่อมราบตรงและพอเพียง; แม้ในทางไกลที่สุด เขาก็ยังได้มิตรสหาย.
