होतारं विश्ववेदसं सं हि त्वा विश इन्धते । स आ वह पुरुहूत प्रचेतसोऽग्ने देवाँ इह द्रवत् ॥
Transliteration
hótāraṃ viśvá-vedasaṃ sáṃ hí tvā víśa indháte | sá ā́ vaha puruhūta prá-cetaso’gne devā́m̐ ihá drávat ||
Translation
ในฐานะโหตฤ (Hotar) ผู้รู้ทั่วทั้งปวง หมู่ชนทั้งหลายย่อมจุดท่านให้ลุกโพลงร่วมกันจริงแท้. เพราะฉะนั้น โอ้อัคนี (Agni) ผู้ถูกอัญเชิญเนืองนิตย์ ผู้มีปรีชากว้างไกล จงนำเหล่าเทพมาสู่ที่นี่—จงเร่งรุดให้สำเร็จเถิด.
