Indrajit–Lakshmana Battle and the Rallying of the Vanaras
ततोमहेन्द्रप्रतिमः स लक्ष्मणःपदातिनंतंनिहतैर्हयोत्तमैः ।सृजन्तमाजौनिशितान्शरोत्तमान् भृशंतदाबाणगणैर्न्यवारयत् ।।।।
tato mahendra-pratimaḥ sa lakṣmaṇaḥ padātinaṃ taṃ nihatāir hayottamaiḥ | sṛjantaṃ ājau niśitān śarottamān bhṛśaṃ tadā bāṇa-gaṇair nyavārayat ||6.90.54||
แล้วพระลักษมณ์ผู้ดุจมหาอินทร์ผู้เกรียงไกร ก็สกัดกั้นเขาอย่างหนักแน่นด้วยห่าศรเป็นชุด ๆ ขณะนักรบนั้น—เมื่อม้าชั้นเลิศถูกสังหารแล้วจึงรบด้วยเท้า—ยังคงปล่อยศรคมกล้าอันประเสริฐในสนามรบไม่หยุด
