इन्द्रजितो यज्ञानुष्ठानं अन्तर्धानं च

Indrajit’s Rite and the Invisible Assault

सर्वतोऽग्निंसमास्तीर्यशरपत्रैस्सतोमरैः ।छागस्यसर्वकृष्णस्यगळंजग्राहजीवतः ।।।।

sarvato ’gniṁ samāstīrya śarapatraiḥ satomaraiḥ | chāgasya sarvakṛṣṇasya galaṁ jagrāha jīvataḥ || 6.80.8 ||

ครั้นโปรยปูพื้นรอบกองไฟทุกทิศด้วยใบหญ้ากกและศัสตราวุธแล้ว เขาก็คว้าคอแพะที่ยังมีชีวิต ซึ่งดำสนิททั้งตัว (เพื่อการบูชา)
