युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

द्रुमवर्षंतुसञ्छिन्नंदृष्टवाकुम्भोनवीर्यवान् ।।।।वानराधिपति: शीमान्महासत्त्वो न विव्यथे ।
drumavarṣaṃ tu sañchinnaṃ dṛṣṭvā kumbhena vīryavān | vānarādhipatiḥ śrīmān mahāsattvo na vivyathe ||
ครั้นเห็นว่าฝนแห่งต้นไม้ถูกกุมภะผู้กล้าหาญทำลายจนขาดสะบั้นแล้ว พระราชาแห่งวานรผู้รุ่งเรือง ผู้มีจิตใจยิ่งใหญ่ ก็มิได้หวั่นไหวเลย
