युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

तमापतन्तंसम्प्रेक्ष्ययूपाक्षंद्विविदस्त्वरन् ।आजघानोरसिक्रुद्धोजग्राह च बलाद्बली ।।।।
tam āpatantaṃ samprekṣya yūpākṣaṃ dvividas tvaran | ājaghānorasi kruddho jagrāha ca balād balī ||
เมื่อเห็นยูปากษะพุ่งเข้ามา ทวิวิดะก็รีบเข้ารับไว้ ครั้นโกรธจัดจึงกระแทกที่อก แล้วคว้าจับไว้ด้วยกำลังอันมหาศาล
