कुम्भकर्णप्रस्थानम् तथा अङ्गदप्रेरणा

Kumbhakarna’s sortie and Angada’s rallying of the Vanaras

शयामहेऽनिहताःपृथिव्यामल्पजीविताः ।दुष्प्रापंब्रह्मलोकंवाप्राप्नुयामोयुधिसूदिता ।।।।

śayāmahe 'nihatāḥ pṛthivyām alpajīvitāḥ |

duṣprāpaṃ brahmalokaṃ vā prāpnuyāmo yudhi sūditāḥ ||

แม้ชีวิตที่กำหนดไว้ของเราจะสั้น และเราถูกสังหารล้มลงบนแผ่นดินในสนามรบ ด้วยความตายในยุทธภูมินั้น เราอาจบรรลุพรหมโลก อันเข้าถึงได้ยากยิ่ง
