लब्ध्वापुनस्त्वंवैदेहींकिमर्थंसम्प्रजल्पसि ।यदीच्छसितदासीतावशगातेभविष्यति ।।।।
labdhvā punastvaṃ vaidēhīṃ kimarthaṃ samprajalpasi | yadīcchasi tadā sītā vaśagā tē bhaviṣyati ||
เมื่อได้ไวเทหีมาแล้ว เหตุใดเจ้าจึงพร่ำเพ้อเช่นนี้? หากเจ้าปรารถนา นางสีดาย่อมจักอยู่ในอำนาจของเจ้า
"Having got Vaidehi, why are you talking like that? Sita will submit to you if you desire."
Kumbhakarna questions Ravana's hesitation and lamentation after already having committed the abduction, suggesting that a Rakshasa should act decisively on their desires rather than worry about the consequences after the fact.
Vaidehi refers to Sita as the princess of the Videha kingdom. Its use highlights her royal lineage and the magnitude of the political and ethical conflict Ravana has initiated.
