Akampana Dispatched; The Vanara–Rakshasa Battle and Omens

eṣa jeṣyati kākatsthau sugrīvaṃ ca mahā-balam | vānarāṃś cāparān ghorān haniṣyati parantapaḥ ||
Highly enraged Akampana of fierce valour cheered all the Rakshasa troops.
The verse illustrates how adharma often speaks in the language of power and conquest; the Ramayana contrasts such bravado with Rāma’s dharmic restraint and rightful purpose.
A confident declaration is made that Akampana will defeat Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, Sugrīva, and the Vānara hosts as the battle intensifies.
Martial confidence and aggressive resolve (though ethically ambiguous in the broader Ramayana frame).
