Angada’s Duel
साङ्गदेनगदाक्षिप्तागत्वातुरणमूर्धनि ।।6.54.23।।सचक्रकूबरंसाश्वंप्रममाथरथंतदा ।
sāṅgadēna gadākṣiptā gatvā tu raṇa-mūrdhani |
sa-cakra-kūbaraṃ sāśvaṃ pramamātha rathaṃ tadā ||6.54.23||
คทาที่อังคทาขว้างพุ่งไปถึงแนวหน้าสุดแห่งศึก แล้วบดทำลายรถศึกนั้นพร้อมทั้งล้อ งอนรถ และม้าทั้งหลายให้แหลกสิ้น
The hillock discharged by Angada went right in the forefront of the battle and shattered the chariot along with its wheels and pole.
Dharma in war includes disabling the enemy’s capacity to harm one’s side; the focus is on stopping aggression decisively within the battlefield frame.
Aṅgada’s throw lands effectively and destroys the enemy chariot and its fittings, including the horses.
Strength directed with purpose—effective action taken to protect allied forces and gain advantage.
