निघ्नतोराक्षसान्दृष्टवासर्वान्वालिसुतोरणे ।क्रोधेनवदिगुणाविष्टःसंवर्तकइवानलः ।।।।
nighnato rākṣasān dṛṣṭvā sarvān vālisuto raṇe |
krodhena dviguṇāviṣṭaḥ saṃvartaka ivānalaḥ ||
ครั้นอังคทะ โอรสแห่งพาลี เห็นเหล่ารากษสกำลังสังหารหมู่วานรในสนามรบ ก็ถูกโทสะทวีคูณครอบงำ ลุกโพลงดุจเพลิงปรลัยยามสิ้นกัลป์ แล้วมุ่งทำลายรากษสทั้งหลาย
Mighty Vajradamshtra, who was endowed with the skill of using every kind of weapon, deluded with anger, went after the Vanara army.
Aṅgada’s surge is framed as protective response: dharma includes defending one’s community and allies when they are being unjustly slaughtered, while still recognizing anger’s dangerous power.
