सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च

Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation

अदृश्यमानेनरणेमाययावासवोपमौ ।ममनाथावनाथायानिहतौरामलक्ष्मणौ ।।।।

adṛśyamānena raṇe māyayā vāsavopamau | mama nāthāv anāthāyā nihatāu rāmalakṣmaṇau ||

ในสนามรบเขาเร้นกายไม่ให้เห็น แล้วด้วยมายากลของผู้ลวงล่อ ได้สังหารพระรามและพระลักษมณ์—สองวีรบุรุษผู้ทรงเดชดุจวาสวะ (อินทร์); ฉะนั้นเราผู้เคยมีที่พึ่ง บัดนี้กลับไร้ที่พึ่งแล้ว
