The Ascent of Suvela and the First Full View of Laṅkā
ततस्सरामोहरिवाहिनीपतिर्विभीषणेनप्रतिनन्द्यसत्कृतः ।सलक्ष्मणोयूथपयूथसम्वृतस्सुवेलपृष्ठेन्यवसद्यथासुखम् ।।।।
tatas sa rāmo harivāhinīpatir
vibhīṣaṇena pratinandya satkṛtaḥ |
sa lakṣmaṇo yūthapayūthasamvṛtas
suvelapṛṣṭhe nyavasad yathāsukham ||6.38.19||
แล้วพระราม ผู้เป็นจอมทัพวานร ครั้นได้รับการต้อนรับและถวายเกียรติจากท่านวิภีษณะแล้ว เสด็จพร้อมพระลักษมณ์ และมีหมู่หัวหน้ากองทัพรายล้อม ประทับพักผ่อนอย่างสบายพระทัย ณ ไหล่เขาสุเวลา
Thereafter, Rama, the leader of Vanara troops happily rested on Suvela peak after Vibheeshana and Lakshmana duly offered their prayers.।। ityārṣēvālmīkīyēśrīmadrāmāyaṇēādikāvyēyuddhakāṇḍēaṣṭātriṅśassargaḥ ।।This is the end of the thirty eighth sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
