माल्यवानुपदेशः—रावणक्रोधः तथा लङ्काद्वाररक्षा-व्यवस्था

द्विधाभज्येयमप्येवंननमेयंतुकस्यचित् ।एषमेसहजोदोषस्स्वभावोदुरतिक्रमः ।।।।
dvidhā bhajyeyam apy evaṃ na namyaṃ tu kasyacit |
eṣa me sahajaḥ doṣaḥ svabhāvo duratikramaḥ ||
ถึงแม้เราจะถูกผ่าออกเป็นสองส่วนเช่นนี้ เราก็มิยอมก้มหัวต่อผู้ใด นี่คือโทษที่ติดตัวมาแต่กำเนิด—สันดานของเรา ซึ่งยากจะข้ามพ้น
