na vāsavenāpi sahasracakṣuṣā yathāsmi śakyo varuṇena vā svayam |

yamena vā dharṣayituṃ śarāgninā mahāhave vaiśravaṇena vā punaḥ ||

ในมหาสงคราม ไฟแห่งศรของเรานั้นยากที่ผู้ใดจะต้านทานได้—แม้แต่วาสวะ (อินทรา) ผู้มีพันเนตร หรือวรุณเอง หรือยมะ หรือแม้ไวศรวณะ (กุเบร) ก็หาอาจทนได้ไม่
