Portents Before the March to Laṅkā

क्षिप्रमद्यैवदुर्दर्षांपुरींरावणपालिताम् ।अभियामजनेनैवसर्वतोहरिभिर्ववृताः ।।6.23.13।।

kṣipram adyaiva durdarṣāṁ purīṁ rāvaṇapālitām | abhiyāma javenaiva sarvato haribhir vavṛtāḥ ||

โดยเร็ว—ในวันนี้เอง—เราจักยกทัพกรูกรีดไปยังนครอันยากจะพิชิตซึ่งราวณะครองอยู่ เมื่อเหล่าวานรกระจายกำลังล้อมไว้รอบด้าน
