सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
विधास्येराम: येनापिविषहिष्येह्यहंतथा ।नग्राहाप्रहरिष्यन्तियावत्सेनातरिष्यति ।।।।हरीणांतरणेरामकरिष्यामियथास्थलम् ।
vidhāsye rāma yenāpi viṣahiṣye hy ahaṃ tathā | na grāhāḥ prahariṣyanti yāvat senā tariṣyati || harīṇāṃ taraṇe rāma kariṣyāmi yathā sthalam ||
ข้าแต่พระราม ข้าจะจัดการด้วยวิธีใดวิธีหนึ่ง ข้าจะยับยั้งเหล่าสัตว์ร้ายเหล่านั้นไว้ เพื่อให้จระเข้ทั้งหลายไม่ทำร้ายตราบเท่าที่กองทัพของพระองค์กำลังข้ามไป และเพื่อการข้ามของเหล่าวานร ข้าจะทำให้เป็นประหนึ่งมีพื้นดินมั่นคง
