Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
इत्युक्त्वापरुषंवाक्यंरावणंरावणानुजः ।आजगाममुहूर्तेनयत्ररामस्सलक्ष्मणः ।।6.17.1।।
ity uktvā paruṣaṃ vākyaṃ rāvaṇaṃ rāvaṇānujaḥ |
ājagāma muhūrtena yatra rāmaḥ salakṣmaṇaḥ ||6.17.149||
ดังนี้ ครั้นกล่าวถ้อยคำแข็งกร้าวต่อทศกัณฐ์แล้ว น้องชายของเขาก็รีบมาถึง ณ ที่ซึ่งพระรามประทับพร้อมพระลักษมณ์
"Impelled by death Ravana would not take good words of advice tendered to him just as one who is impelled by death does not take medicine."
