Having admonished the two glowing sons, and Sita, Dasaratha went by aerial car to the world of Indra.
Dharma here is shown as guidance received from elders and then a return to cosmic order—Daśaratha’s radiant departure signifies completion of duty and restoration of rightful rule.
Daśaratha concludes his counsel to Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, and Sītā and then ascends the vimāna to depart for Indra’s heaven.
Daśaratha’s benevolent guardianship and concern for right conduct, even after death, as he ensures dharma is clearly affirmed.
