Ravana’s Council Address and Kumbhakarna’s Counsel
त्वयेदंमहादारब्धंकार्यमप्रतिचिन्तितम् ।दिष्ट्यात्वांनावधीद्रामोविषमिश्रमिवामिषम् ।।6.12.34।।
tvayedaṃ mahad ārabdhaṃ kāryam apraticintitam | diṣṭyā tvāṃ nāvadhīd rāmo viṣa-miśram ivāmiṣam || 6.12.34 ||
ท่านได้เริ่มการใหญ่ครั้งนี้โดยปราศจากการไตร่ตรอง โชคดีที่พระรามมิได้สังหารท่าน ดั่งเนื้อผสมยาพิษที่ปลิดชีพผู้กิน
"O Sinless Ravana! Therefore, that which you have done is not possible for none other than me. I will kill your enemy and accomplish your goal for you."
Dharma requires thoughtful action (vicāra) before undertaking major deeds; reckless beginnings invite self-destruction.
