सीताया अग्निप्रवेशः

यदहंगात्रसम्पर्शंगतास्मिविशवाप्रभो ।कामकारो न मेतत्रदैवंतत्रापराध्यति ।।।।
yad ahaṃ gātra-samparśaṃ gatāsmi vivaśā prabho | kāmakāro na me tatra daivaṃ tatrāparādhyati ||
ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า หากกายของข้าถูกต้องต้องด้วยอวัยวะของผู้อื่น ข้าย่อมตกอยู่ในความจำยอม มิได้มีสิทธิเลือก—กรรมและแรงบังคับนั้นแลควรถูกตำหนิ มิใช่ข้า
