सीतासमीपगमनम् / Sītā Brought Near to Rāma

यन्निमित्तोऽयमारम्बःकर्मणांयःफलोदयः ।तांदेवींशोकसन्तप्तांद्रष्टुमर्हसिमैथिलीम् ।।।।

yan-nimitto ’yam ārambhaḥ karmaṇāṃ yaḥ phalodayaḥ |

tāṃ devīṃ śoka-santaptāṃ draṣṭum arhasi maithilīm ||

ท่านควรได้ทอดพระเนตรพระนางไมถิลีผู้ประเสริฐ ผู้ถูกความโศกเผาผลาญ—เพราะพระนางนี่เองการงานนี้จึงเริ่มขึ้น และเพื่อพระนางนี่เองผลแห่งกรรมทั้งหลายบัดนี้ได้ปรากฏแล้ว
