na paraḥ pāpam ādatte pareṣāṃ pāpa-karmaṇām | samayo rakṣitavyas tu satpathaś cāritra-bhūṣaṇāḥ || 6.116.45 ||

Translation

ผู้มีใจประเสริฐย่อมไม่รับบาปเพราะเห็นผู้อื่นทำกรรมชั่ว ตรงกันข้าม พึงรักษาความประพฤติอันถูกกาลและดำรงอยู่ในทางธรรม เพราะคุณความดีแห่งจริยานั่นแลคือเครื่องประดับแท้จริง
