रावणस्य अन्त्येष्टिः
Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct
यदातेतनयश्शस्तोलक्ष्मणेनेन्द्रजिद्युधि ।।।।तदात्वभिहतातीव्रमद्यत्वस्मिनिपातिता ।
yadā te tanayaḥ śasto lakṣmaṇenendrajid yudhi | tadā tv abhihatā tīvram adya tv asmin nipātitā ||
เมื่อโอรสของท่าน อินทรชิต ถูกพระลักษมณ์ประหารในสนามรบ ครานั้นข้าถูกความโศกแทงใจอย่างรุนแรง; และวันนี้ท่านเองก็ล้มลง ณ ที่นี้ ถูกปราบให้พินาศ
