नैवार्थेन न कामेनविक्रमेण न चाज्ञया ।शक्यादैवगतिर्लोकेनिवर्तयितुमुद्यता ।।।।

Transliteration

naivārthena na kāmena vikrameṇa na cājñayā | śakyā daivagatir loke nivartayitum udyatā ||

Translation

ในโลกนี้ เมื่อวิถีแห่งพรหมลิขิตได้เริ่มเคลื่อนไปแล้ว ย่อมไม่อาจหวนกลับได้—ไม่ด้วยทรัพย์สิน ไม่ด้วยความใคร่ปรารถนา ไม่ด้วยวีรกรรม และแม้ด้วยพระราชโองการก็หาไม่
