सकीर्यमाणश्शरजालवृष्टिभिर्महात्मनादीप्तधनुष्मतार्दितः ।भयात्प्रदुद्रावसमेत्यरावणोयथाविलेनाभिहतोबलाहकः ।।।।

sakīryamāṇaś śarajālavṛṣṭibhir mahātmanā dīptadhanuṣmatā 'rditaḥ |

bhayāt pradudrāva sametya rāvaṇo yathānilena 'bhihato balāhakaḥ ||

เมื่อถูกมหาบุรุษผู้ทรงธนูเรืองรองกระหน่ำด้วยฝนศรเป็นตาข่ายที่โปรยกระจายรอบด้าน ทศกัณฐ์ก็แตกตื่นหนีไปพร้อมบริวาร ด้วยความหวาดกลัว ดุจเมฆถูกลมพัดกระแทกและขับไล่
