दर्शनम् — Rama Receives Sita’s Token and Questions Hanuman
मणिरत्नमिदं दत्तं वैदेह्याश्श्वशुरेण मे।वधूकाले यथाबद्धमधिकं मूर्ध्नि शोभते।।।।
maṇi-ratnam idaṃ dattaṃ vaidehyāḥ śvaśureṇa me |
vadhū-kāle yathābaddham adhikaṃ mūrdhni śobhate ||
อัญมณีรัตนะนี้ บิดาของภรรยาข้าพเจ้าได้มอบแก่ไวเทหี; เมื่อสวมและผูกไว้ในพิธีอภิเษกสมรส ก็ยิ่งทอประกายงามบนเศียรของนาง
"She is always very timid. How can my fair-hipped beloved remain in the midst of dreadful and fearsome demons?
Dharma is the sanctity of marriage and remembrance of lawful bonds: the ornament becomes a truthful witness to a righteous union and to Rāma’s duty to restore Sītā.
Rāma identifies the jewel and recalls its origin at the wedding, confirming it as Sītā’s and strengthening the credibility of Hanumān’s report.
Rāma’s integrity and clarity—he grounds action in सत्य (truth) by recognizing and verifying the token.
