हनूमद्वृत्तान्तः—वानरबलप्रशंसा च

जयत्यतिबलो रामो लक्ष्मणश्च महाबलः।राजा जयति सुग्रीवो राघवेणाभिपालितः।।5.59.23।।अहं कोसलराजस्य दासः पवनसम्भवः।हनुमानिति सर्वत्र नाम विश्रावितं मया।।5.59.24।।
jayaty atibalo rāmo lakṣmaṇaś ca mahābalaḥ | rājā jayati sugrīvo rāghaveṇābhipālitaḥ || (5.59.23)
ahaṃ kosalarājasya dāsaḥ pavanasambhavaḥ | hanumān iti sarvatra nāma viśrāvitaṃ mayā || (5.59.24)
ชัยชนะจงมีแด่พระรามผู้ทรงเดชยิ่ง และพระลักษมณ์ผู้มีกำลังมหาศาล; ชัยชนะจงมีแด่พระเจ้าสุครีพ ผู้ได้รับการอภิบาลจากพระราฆวะ ข้าคือทาสของกษัตริย์แห่งโกศล ผู้บังเกิดจากพระพาย—หนุมาน; ข้าจึงประกาศนามนี้ให้เลื่องลือไปทั่วทุกแห่ง
