Survey of the Aśoka Grove and its Enchanted Landscape
रामशोकाभिसन्तप्ता सा देवी वामलोचना।वनवासे रता नित्यमेष्यते वनचारिणी।।।।
rāmaśokābhisantaptā sā devī vāmalocanā | vanavāse ratā nityam eṣyate vanacāriṇī ||
พระเทวีผู้มีดวงตางดงามนั้น ถูกเผาผลาญด้วยความโศกถึงพระราม ผู้ยินดีในชีวิตป่าและการเที่ยวไปในพงไพรเสมอ—ย่อมเสด็จมาที่นี่
"That lovely-eyed queen tormented with grief over separation from Rama will be coming here to stay as she always loves strolling in the forest.
Dharma is endurance with dignity: even in intense grief, Sītā’s conduct is portrayed as steady and self-possessed, consistent with maryādā.
Hanumān continues to infer Sītā’s likely movements based on her temperament and past life in the forest.
Kṣānti (forbearance) and steadiness: she bears separation without abandoning her noble disposition.
