Hanuman’s Search Through Ravana’s Inner Apartments
किं वा वक्ष्यति वृद्धश्च जाम्बवानाङ्गदश्च सः।गतं पारं समुद्रस्य वानराश्च समागताः।।।।
kiṃ vā vakṣyati vṛddhaś ca jāmbavān aṅgadaś ca saḥ |
gataṃ pāraṃ samudrasya vānarāś ca samāgatāḥ ||
แล้วชัมพวานผู้ชราจะกล่าวสิ่งใด และอังคทะผู้นั้นจะกล่าวสิ่งใด—เมื่อเหล่าวานรทั้งหลายชุมนุมคอยข้าอยู่ ณ ฝั่งไกลโพ้นแห่งมหาสมุทร?
'What will the elderly Jambavan say? What will young prince Angada and other vanaras collected there say when I reach the sea-shore to meet them'.
Dharma includes responsibility before elders and leaders; satya demands that one return with truthful, mission-relevant knowledge, not mere bravado.
Hanuman imagines meeting the waiting team across the ocean and fears the judgment of senior Jāmbavān and prince Aṅgada.
Respect for elders and leadership—he values their expectations and counsel.
